Corning Incorporated has again been selected by Working Mother magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers. This is the twelfth consecutive year that Corning has made the top 100 list.

“We are very pleased to be selected, once again by Working Mother magazine as one of the top 100 companies in America to work for,” said Pamela C. Schneider, senior vice president of human resources and diversity officer. “Corning has always been committed to providing a strong work/life balance and support of quality childcare in the community. Plus, we’ve found that productivity is enhanced when our employees are motivated and able to focus on their work.”

This is the 15th year that Working Mother has reported on the state of American industry as it relates to working mothers. The magazine honors the country’s most innovative employers that implement and promote family-friendly policies, especially those sensitive to the needs of the nations working women, 70% of which are working mothers. The complete survey will appear in the October issue.
