BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2006--The Hilton Family of Hotels announced today that it has made it even easier for members of its highly popular guest reward program, Hilton HHonors(R), to convert their HHonors points and contribute to a variety of unique, non-profit, charitable organizations.

The newly created Hilton Family Giving Back Program celebrates a select collection of philanthropic groups that many of the company's hotels and offices currently participate with on a regular basis throughout the year.

"The Hilton Family is proud of its legacy of lending support to the communities in which we do business by way of event sponsorships, direct donations and team member participation. The Hilton Family Giving Back Program will help raise awareness for truly worthy service organizations and inspire support for their endeavors," said Adam Burke, senior vice president and managing director of Hilton HHonors Worldwide. "By extending our company's philosophy to be hospitable(TM) into all facets of our business, we hope that HHonors members will consider contributing their points and other resources to these groups and help make our communities and our world a better place to live."

Every 10,000 HHonors points can be redeemed for a charitable cash
donation(a) of $25.00 to any of the following nine regional and national charities:

-- AIDS Walk Los Angeles

-- American Red Cross(R)

-- Arthritis Foundation(R)

-- City of Hope(R) Cancer Center

-- International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent
Societies

-- The National Arbor Day Foundation(R)

-- National Coalition for the Homeless

-- National Gardening Association(R)

-- Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation(R)

Many of the Hilton Family brands have existing relationships with Giving Back Program non-profit organizations. For example, as the official hotel partner of Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, Embassy Suites Hotels(R) has provided more than 4,200 complimentary suite nights to seriously ill children and their families since 2001.
Also, Homewood Suites by Hilton(R) has forged a relationship with the National Coalition for the Homeless to aid the charity's mission to end homelessness. The Hilton Garden Inn(R), through its relationship with The National Gardening Association, has developed a community educational outreach program to teach children about the many facets of gardening and its importance to the global environment.
