DELRAY BEACH, FL.- January 17, 2007- At the Office Depot Success Strategies for Businesswomen Conference a few years ago, entrepreneur Nancy Michaels bid on and won a lunch meeting with executives at Office Depot (NYSE:ODP), a leading global provider of office products and services. That one-hour lunch turned into a relationship between Michaels and Office Depot which is today known as Office Depot Web Workshops, web-based seminars focused on Small Business Strategies.

From this experience as well as six consecutive years of sold-out conferences in South Florida, Office Depot is well aware of the impact women entrepreneurs have on corporations as well as their local economies. Office Depot's learnings are supported by a recent report released by the Center for Women's Business Research which states that majority women-owned businesses are growing nearly twice as fast as the national average.

With states such as Florida, Texas, California, Illinois and Pennsylvania all listed by the Center in the top-ten for percentage of majority women-owned firms, Office Depot is expanding the 2007 Success Strategies for Businesswomen Conference from one location to six cities, including Orlando, FL; Dallas, TX; Orange County, CA; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; and Philadelphia, PA. The conference, recognized as one of the nation's most prominent events for women business owners and corporate female professionals, has been restructured into a one-day symposium packed with informative sessions, matchmaking opportunities, innovative best practices and an interactive EXPO. The theme of this year's conference is Branding Yourself for Unstoppable Success. For detailed event information or to register, please visit www.officedepotsuccess.com.
