CALGARY, AB - October 4, 2007 - Imperial Oil released its 2006 Corporate Citizenship Report, A Partner in the Community. Key accomplishments highlighted in the report include:

  • Improving energy efficiency in refineries by four per cent compared with 2002 and by 16 per cent compared with 1994

  • dentifying new ways to engage and strengthen relationships with local communities on long-range development plans

  • Contributing more than $12 million to support over 400 community initiatives across Canada
