Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PotashCorp) today began distribution of its fourth Sustainability Report - One World - which documents the company's economic, social and environmental performance in 2005.

"This report further demonstrates PotashCorp's commitment to identifying and implementing sustainable business practices for the benefit of the company and its numerous stakeholders," said Bill Doyle, President and Chief Executive Officer. "In adopting the "One World" theme, we are recognizing that as a global company our future success is intimately intertwined with global developments. By pursuing sustainability, PotashCorp is working to make a positive difference in one world - our world."

Among the report's highlights:

• Charitable giving and community contributions were at an all-time high in 2005, a year that saw the company give $1 million in tsunami relief and $250,000 to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

• Between 2002 and 2005, energy efficiency improved 19 percent at the company's potash facilities and 14 percent at its phosphate operations.

• Direct greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by 5.3 percent in 2005.

• Record-breaking economic results had a positive effect on the overall economic impact in the communities where PotashCorp does business.

• Creation of a Senior Safety Leadership Team revitalized the company's safety efforts.

• Additional information and performance measures are included as a result of adopting the new draft G3 reporting guidelines established by the Global Reporting Initiative.
