SASKATOON, SASKATCHUWAN - Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PotashCorp) today began distribution of its newly published Sustainability Report – Conducting Today’s Business With Tomorrow In Mind. The document is the first sustainability report produced by a North American fertilizer company and addresses the Company’s current economic, social and environmental performance. It also identifies targets for improvement, defines PotashCorp’s “Core Values” and reports on measures taken to ensure transparency in all areas of business and social conduct.

The 92-page report was prepared using guidelines established by the United Nations sanctioned Global Reporting Initiative, and independent organization that has set the international standards for sustainability reporting. The book can be viewed online at www.potashcorp.com.

This report offers our stakeholders – and even our critics – a full view of our performance in areas that are important to all of us.”

The report is part of PotashCorp’s best-practice approach to business. Although this level of reporting is not required, the Company believes that providing information and measuring performance are the best routes to success and future growth. The report will be updated annually.
