Itronics Inc. (OTCBB:ITRO - news) today reported that its subsidiary, Itronics Metallurgical, Inc., has completed development and is introducing GOLD'n GRO Zinc into the chelated liquid zinc micronutrient market.

''GOLD'n GRO Zinc is a second generation GOLD'n GRO product incorporating new formulation technology that improves nutrient availability to the plants being fertilized,'' said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics President. ''Chelated zinc is a micronutrient product for general use in all horticultural and agricultural markets and is widely used on large acreage crops such as corn, soybeans, and cotton. The micronutrient market in the United States is estimated to be 110,000 tons per year, with zinc micronutrients accounting for more than two-thirds of the total. More micronutrients are used annually in California than in any other state.
