Itronics Inc. (OTCBB:ITRO - news) today reported that its subsidiary, Itronics Metallurgical, Inc., has completed development and is introducing GOLD'n GRO Zinc into the chelated liquid zinc micronutrient market.
''Truck load orders for the product have been received and shipped. This product is being introduced in the California market through our distributor network,'' said Dr. Whitney. ''The truck shipments are expected to resume when the weather clears in February or March.''
Several micronutrient elements, including zinc, iron, manganese, boron, and copper, are used in plant nutrition. The micronutrient market in the United States is estimated to be 110,000 tons per year, with zinc micronutrients accounting for more than two-thirds of the total. More micronutrients are used annually in California than in any other state.
Itronics Metallurgical, Inc. is now offering three GOLD'n GRO micronutrient products: GOLD'n GRO Zinc, GOLD'n GRO Iron, and GOLD'n GRO Manganese.
