Today, the Electric Vehicle Association of the Americas (EVAA) announced that it will have the largest display of electric technologies to be exhibited in the United States this year as part of its upcoming event, the "Electric Transportation Industry Conference: Battery, Hybrid, and Fuel Cell Technologies," which will be held Dec. 11-14, 2001, in Sacramento, Calif.

"In July, we increased the exhibition hall in the Sacramento Convention Center to 20,000 square feet in order accommodate the significant demand for space from EV industry suppliers. We now have completely filled the larger hall with an impressive array of technologies and products of international auto manufacturers, component, sub-system providers and technology developers," said EVAA Executive Director Kateri Callahan.

The exhibition floor will feature new commercial products, demonstration prototype products and concept vehicles.

"The ETI Conference exhibition reflects the expansion and continuing growth of the electric transportation technology industry. There is no other fuel cell, hybrid and battery electric vehicle conference that is as encompassing, exciting and educational as the ETI Conference," stated Mike McCabe, EVAA Conference committee chairman and Ford TH!NK Manager.
