The Report details progress against the BHP Billiton HSEC Targets and the company's related HSEC performance. This year, additional commentary has been provided on BHP Billiton's approach to sustainability, and in particular their sustainability challenges. A key focus of the report is the inclusion of case studies, which provide concrete examples of how the Company is putting policy into practice.
The full 2004 HSEC Report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative 2002 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. Using the GRI Index Navigator located on the web, users can search the report online to identify where each GRI indicator is addressed.
