New York - International speakers will gather at the Ethical Corporation magazine conference and training seminar on 2-4 October 2002 in New York to explore the business case for effective management of corporate social and environmentally responsible issues.

Dawn Rittenhouse, Director Sustainable Development, DuPont will highlight the importance of measuring the performance and benefits produced by a responsible corporate policy and discuss how corporate responsibility policies tie in effectively with wider corporate governance issues.

Citigroup's, Senior Vice President, Global Community Relations, Pam Flaherty, will talk about how Citigroup is integrating sustainable development into its management structure and corporate policies and how they are selling CSR internally across the country.

· Intel, will discuss key performance indicators for social and environmental management and how to identify the most important areas in your management system

· Microsoft will discuss the core internal management techniques required for successful national and international corporate community engagement

· MTV Network's, Vice President Public Responsibility, Alicin Reidy will discuss how companies can use the power of their brands for successful awareness raising campaigns on issues relating to corporate social and environmental responsibility

A one day practical training workshop on "Corporate Citizenship...From theory and posture to practice and action given by internationally acclaimed experts, Professor Sandra Waddock and Professor Alyson Warhurst, from two world leading centres of excellence in Corporate Citizenship: the Centre for Corporate Citizenship, Boston College and Warwick Business School's Corporate Citizenship Unit will address:-

· Integrating and managing the concept of Total Responsibility Management
· Key practical steps towards corporate social and environmental responsibility
· Determining the boundaries and outreach of business responsibility
· Challenges for the future
