SAN FRANCISCO, July 28, 2006 - Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) understands that one of the most challenging aspects of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the demand for measurable results. The 2006 BSR Conference, "Innovative Strategies -- Measurable Impacts," will respond to this challenge with an agenda and speakers that address both the internal and external work behind sustainable business practices.

Confirmed keynote speakers so far include some of the world's most recognized CEOs, including:

  • Neville Isdell, Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company
  • Amory Lovins, CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute
  • Richard D. Parsons, Chairman and CEO, Time Warner Inc.
  • Daniel Vasella, Chairman and CEO of Novartis AG

By focusing on "Innovative Strategies" and "Measurable Impacts," the BSR Conference provides an engaging forum to discuss the hurdles and rewards of incorporating CSR into core business strategies and operations. Participants will:

  • Learn about the best practices in CSR today -- and what lies ahead

  • Meet other business leaders and gain insight about how CSR creates competitive advantage

  • Interact with global NGO and public policy leaders who are shaping the future of business and society relations

  • Learn what innovations have been made in the last year, as well as the newest issues that are affecting businesses now and in the future

The BSR Annual Conference is the largest gathering of CSR practitioners in the world, attracting over 1,100 attendees from more than 40 countries. Register by August 13 and save up to $525. For more details, visit www.bsr.org/conference, call 415-984-3200 or email conference@bsr.org.
