SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Approximately 1,000 business executives from more than 30 countries will hear several notable business and civic leaders address issues of corporate responsibility, transparency and accountability at the Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) 2003 Annual Conference on November 11-14, 2003, at The Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

This year's confirmed BSR Conference keynote speakers include:

» Michael Eskew, CEO and Chairman, United Parcel Service, Inc.,

» Carly Fiorina, CEO and Chairman, HP,

» Arianna Huffington, syndicated columnist and author of "Pigs at the Trough: How Corporate Greed and Political Corruption are Undermining America," and

» Anthony Romero, Executive Director, American Civil Liberties Union.

With a theme of "Building and Sustaining Solutions," the Conference invites participants to explore and share innovative strategies and practical methods for implementing and maintaining successful corporate social responsibility (CSR) structures and management systems. Exploring practical, proven approaches and exchanging innovative ideas, the Conference will enable conference participants to:

» Identify ways of devising and implementing effective strategies and policies for the long term,

» Share methodologies and tools that they can take back and apply at their own companies, and

» Find partners and peers who can help them succeed.

The Conference will also feature speakers from dozens of leading companies and organizations in more than thirty breakout sessions covering issues in business ethics, community investment, environment, global CSR, governance and accountability, human rights, marketplace and public policy.

Going live May 1, the Conference web site, BSR Conference, provides more detail on sessions, agenda and online registration. Early registrants save on rates, and BSR members enjoy additional discounts.
