NEW YORK,NY. - September 26, 2008 - Deloitte LLP has been named one of Working Mother magazine's "100 Best Companies" for the 15th consecutive year, earning a position in Working Mother's Hall of Fame. Deloitte emerged from a field of hundreds of companies that scored highest in key categories that are important to working mothers, including flexibility, childcare, time-off and leaves and culture.

Deloitte was selected for the 2008 Working Mother "100 Best Companies" list based on an extensive application with more than 500 questions. The application included detailed questions about workforce, compensation, child-care and flexibility programs, leave policies and company culture. It also checked the usage, availability and tracking of programs, as well as the accountability of managers who oversee them.

Hall of Fame honors are reserved for companies that earn a spot on the list for 15 consecutive years.

"Joining the Working Mother Hall of Fame is an important accomplishment that we are proud and honored to achieve," said Barbara Adachi, national managing principal for the retention and advancement of women, Deloitte LLP. "We remain competitive in the benefits and opportunities we provide working mothers at Deloitte, which in turn helps us attract and retain a diverse workforce."

Carol Evans, CEO, Working Mother Media added, "Deloitte has made family-friendly policies a part of their DNA. Supporting families is a vital part of their culture and not just an added benefit."

The Working Mother recognition adds to other accolades earned this year. Deloitte was recently recognized by BusinessWeek as a best place to launch a career and, in January, by Fortune magazine as one of the 100 best companies to work for.
