Senior Executives Convene In Charlotte To Discuss Corporate Social Responsibility

CHARLOTTE, NC - As public and shareholder trust in corporate responsibility and ethics continues to erode, executives from major corporations will convene in Charlotte for the 2004 Forum in Action Workshop to discuss their organization's role as a catalyst for change.

Entrepreneur, environmentalist and author Paul Hawken will kick-off the workshop with a compelling address on "The Sustainability Vision." Among the others keynoting include such notables as Founder & Chairman of Interface, Inc. Ray Anderson and authors David Bornstein and Robert Quinn

An evening dinner panel on the 19th will bring guests an insider's view of the investigation of Enron, the complexities of the CIA, and the ongoing challenges of sustainability in the modern world. Carolina Business Review host Chris William will moderate. Panelists include:

  • Bill Green, Managing Director, VantagePoint
  • Harris DeLoach - President & CEO, Sonoco Products
  • Bryan Ives, Partner, Alston & Bird and lead investigator in analysis of Enron accounting structure
