WASHINGTON, D.C.- GreenBiz.com, the Web's leading resource for news and resources on business and the environment, announces the addition of four new monthly columnists as well as a new syndication feature to further expand its distribution of daily news and information.

The new columnists include:

  • Gil Friend, founder and CEO of Natural Logic, a leading environmental business consultancy, has taken over GreenBiz.com's long-standing "Ask the Experts" column. Friend is a systems ecologist and business strategist with 30 years experience in business development and environmental innovation. Tomorrow Magazine called him "a real expert who combines theoretical sophistication with hands-on, in-the-trenches know-how."

  • Steven Schueth, president of First Affirmative Financial Network, is hosting a monthly column on socially responsible investing, featuring articles by some of the thought leaders in SRI as well as by Schueth himself. Schueth is a veteran of socially responsible investing, previously holding senior executive positions at Calvert and as chair of the Social Investment Forum.

  • Joel Makower, founder of GreenBiz.com and a veteran writer and consultant in the arena of corporate environmental practices, is contributing a monthly column published in partnership with Grist Magazine, a leading Web site for environmental news and commentary. The column focuses on helping readers integrate environmental practices into their companies' operations on a daily basis.

  • The Presidio School of Management is writing a monthly column, "The Sustainable MBA," focusing on the world of environmentally responsible companies as seen through the eyes of business students and their faculty. Presidio offers an MBA program in Sustainable Management integrating social and environmental values within every course.

    GreenBiz.com also has launched an RSS feed, an easy means for users to add daily headlines, columnists, and resources to their own Web sites, news readers, and personalized home pages such as MyYahoo!
