The two-day forum is designed for business leaders and managers who seek to implement innovative organizational programs that produce outstanding business results, as well as positive environmental and social impact. Utilizing a combination of presentations, work groups and networking exercises, the Forum will address many topics, including:
The ISC will provide a special focus on Responsible Enterprise Print (REP) programs, which addresses the significant economic, social and environmental impacts of enterprise-wide print activities.
"While printing, publishing and packaging are essential to commerce and learning, they are not sustainable as currently produced and consumed," says Oya Demirli, Executive Director of ISC. "REP offers a systematic framework for the implementation of sustainable print practices that help build more profitable and environmentally sound businesses."
"ISC and SoL share a common goal to accelerate the learning of strategies and programs that help organizations of all sizes apply a sustainability mindset in daily business activities," says Joe Laur, Director, SoL Sustainability Consortium. "We're delighted to have the ISC's support and sponsorship for the upcoming Sustainability Consortium
Conference."
Additional corporate sponsors include: US Borax, BP, Coca Cola, DTE Energy, Foley Hoag, Ford, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Foundation, Harley Davison, HP, IFC, McDonalds, Nike, Plug Power, SC Johnson, Schlumberger, Shaw Industries, Shell International, Unilever, United Technologies and Visteon.
