ATLANTA - Raving Brands, owner of fast casual concepts, Moe's Southwest Grill and Mama Fu's Asian House, has dedicated January 19 as a day to raise money for those individuals affected by the Tsunami.

"We appreciate, like so many other companies and individuals in this country, that it's our American duty and responsibility to help others in a time of great need," explains Martin Sprock, Chairman and Chief of Raving Brands. "We understand from the American Red Cross the best thing we can do is raise funds for relief so that's what we intend to do."

Participating Moe's Southwest Grills and Mama Fu's Asian Houses will encourage customers to visit on Wednesday, January 19, the day it will give 20 percent of all sales from participating franchisees to the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief effort.

"Our Moe's and Mama Fu's franchisees wanted to contribute in some meaningful manner as brands and agreed to give 10 percent of their sales," explains Sprock. "In partnership with their efforts, we were pleased to match their 10 percent to make the biggest impact, fast."
