Four-Day Intensive Compliance Academy Offered by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics

MINNEAPOLIS, MN- January 30, 2007- Setting the standard in compliance education, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) announced today it will hold a Compliance Academy, March 26-29, 2007, in Dallas, TX. This unique four-day basic intensive training program addresses methods for implementing and managing compliance programs based on the structure described in the United States Sentencing Commission compliance guidelines. On Friday, March 30, following the SCCE Compliance Academy, participants will have the opportunity to take the CCEP certification exam. The SCCE developed the Compliance Academy for individuals with a general knowledge of compliance concepts and some professional experience working in a compliance function (6-18 months). Attendance is limited to 70 individuals to provide those attending the SCCE Compliance Academy with the optimal educational experience. Those who attend the Compliance Academy will have numerous opportunities to meet compliance industry peers as well as individuals working in government, legal and academic settings.

CCEP "“ Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional

With CCEP certification, compliance professionals have an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in the practice of corporate compliance.

Those attending the Compliance Academy receive 30.6 CCEP Continuing Education Units (CEUs); 20 CEUs are required to take the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional certification examination (see CCEP Candidate Handbook at http://www.corporatecompliance.org/CCEP/docs/CCEP_2006_handbook.pdf).
