The Forum is an opportunity for global companies, government leaders, and their stakeholders to look forward together, in a positive setting, and find practical common ground paths that avoid conflict and foster collaborative solutions to "triple bottom line" issues, beginning before the 2008 Olympics.

Confirmed to be joining are senior executives from global brands such as Coca-Cola, Hewlett-Packard, Mattel, Motorola, Foxconn, Nike, Novozymes, Bayer, Genencor, APCO, Shell to share thoughts, experiences and practices.

Topics include Sustainability Toward the 2008 Olympics, Business Cases for Sustainability, Harmonious Relationships Among Stakeholders, Innovation and Leadership, and a Supply Chain Solutions Dialogue. Over 100 Chinese companies are anticipated to attend.

Future 500 aligns the interests of corporations and stakeholders, to advance economic, social, and environmental sustainability - the "triple bottom line." The conference will kick off the Future 500 China Stakeholder Initiative, a multi-company effort to build positive stakeholder relationships before and after the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

"During the Olympics, the eyes of the world will be on China, and every company operating there," according to Bill Shireman, President of Future 500. "Chinese business, government, and citizen leaders all share a commitment to demonstrate high social and environmental performance across the supply chains," said Dr. Jin Zhouying, a respected Chinese scientist who is the founding executive director of Future 500 China.
