Real Estate Finance Veteran is New Senior Vice President at Enterprise Community Investment

COLUMBIA, MD. December 6, 2006-- Enterprise Community Investment, Inc., a national leader in affordable housing finance and community investment, announces the appointment of C. Lamar Seats to senior vice president, Multifamily Mortgage Finance. Seats brings 20 years of experience in real estate finance to his position at Enterprise.

Seats specializes in creating and expanding multifamily and commercial permanent debt programs and will focus on enhancing and expanding Enterprise's multifamily mortgage finance product offerings. As senior vice president, Seats will focus on new product development to complement Enterprise's existing debt products, and expansion of the loan origination network throughout the organization.

Before joining Enterprise, Seats was senior vice president at Reilly Mortgage Group, where he managed national direct loan production averaging $1 billion annually through a network of eight regional offices and 17 loan originators. From 2000 to 2003, Seats was director, Real Estate Merchant Banking Group for Wells Fargo Bank. In that capacity, he opened the company's office to serve the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States, originating and structuring real estate investments and providing loans and mezzanine debt products. Prior to that, Seats held real estate lending positions with Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, and USF&G Corporation in Baltimore. Early in his career, Seats originated syndicated real estate debt facilities for Chemical Bank and was an associate in the Real Estate Finance Group at Bankers Trust Company in New York.

Seats earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a master's in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He reports to Charlie Werhane, vice chairman, and chief operating officer. Seats is based at Enterprise's headquarters office in Columbia, Md.
