NEW YORK and 65 CENTERS ACROSS AMERICA -- After a nationwide search, the 124-year-old national children's crisis charity KidsPeace named veteran healthcare executive William R. Isemann as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The organization sees the appointment as an opportunity to use Isemann's track record of success to extend the KidsPeace mission of bringing hope, help, and healing to more children facing traumas and crises across America. He will begin his new position June 26.

Mr. Isemann has more than 30 years of experience serving in top financial positions at major hospital and healthcare systems, including Humana and American Medical International, as well as several non-profit organizations. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for Danville Regional Health System in Virginia, which includes a 350-bed acute medical/surgical hospital, a 62-bed rehabilitation hospital, a 100-apartment retirement center, and a network of freestanding diagnostic and outpatient centers. During his tenure, revenues doubled from $87 million to $170 million.

"Will Isemann is one of those rare examples of a chief financial officer who knows more than just how to do well for an organization," said the KidsPeace President and CEO C. T. O'Donnell II. "His special skill is using his talent, experience, and humanity to transform doing well into doing good. With his help, we will take another step toward our goal of making sure that no child in crisis is without a place to turn."

Mr. Isemann is actively involved in a wide variety of community and professional organizations. He is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a graduate of Duke University and has served as adjunct professor in the University of West Virginia System and Blue Ridge Community College in Virginia. He and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters, Erin and Meghan.

"KidsPeace is a unique and special organization," said William Isemann. "In addition to helping more than 4,000 children in the worst kinds of crisis, they reach out to million of kids and families each year to help them avoid and deal with the kinds of dangers that can threaten any child. I wanted to be part of a charity that does more than just bail the boat, but that brings lasting solutions that will make a difference to all of us."
