Hermitage, Pa. - Employees of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB) are raising money on behalf of the American Heart Association this week. The Employee Giving campaign began Friday, July 1st, and runs through Friday, July 15th. Employees who contribute $5 or more will earn the right to wear denim to work on Friday, July 15th.

This is the third employee charitable giving campaign the Corporation has sponsored this year, and is part of the annual initiative that will feature an employee charitable campaign each quarter. This is the first year for the annual initiative, which has included a January campaign that raised over $15,000 in benefits for the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund. The American Cancer Society received $4,300 as the benefactor of the Corporation's April campaign.

Funds collected during this campaign will be deposited in a dedicated "F.N.B. Employee Donation Fund" checking account. Once the campaign ends the funds will be distributed among the regions served by F.N.B. Corporation and its subsidiaries to benefit the activities of the local American Heart Association chapters in each region.

"Because the funds will benefit the local chapters of the American Heart Association, F.N.B. staff members who live and work in that region will be able to support whatever aspect of the many programs that best reflects local needs," noted Stephen Gurgovits, President and CEO of F.N.B. Corporation. "In some cases the local office of F.N.B. may decide to leverage those funds into even more funds by using them to sponsor local fund raising events for the AHA."

The campaign will include employees of F.N.B. subsidiaries First National Bank, F.N.B. Wealth Management, First National Insurance Agency, and Regency Finance Company.
