Johnny Carino's Announces Hurricane Relief Event to Benefit the American Red Cross Sunday, September 11, 2005

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 2005--Fired Up, Inc., parent company of Johnny Carino's Italian, announced today that it will donate 15% of sales at all company-owned restaurants on Sunday, September 11, 2005 to the American Red Cross Emergency Relief Fund.

"Our employees and guests are asking how they can support the victims of Hurricane Katrina now while the need is greatest," said Norman Abdallah, founder and CEO of Fired Up, Inc. "We believe this event is something that we can do quickly to help with the massive relief effort in the wake of Katrina. The decision to support the American Red Cross was obvious." The contributions to the relief effort will come from the Fired Up Charitable Foundation and from Johnny Carino's Italian directly to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
