TEL Donates $250,000 to Katrina Disaster Relief Effort

(TEL) has committed to donating up to $250,000 to the American Red Cross's Disaster Relief fund for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The company will make an immediate cash donation of $150,000, and match up to $100,000 from TEL employee donations made to the Red Cross.
Tetsuro Higashi, Chairman & CEO of Tokyo Electron Limited, said, "We extend our deepest sympathies to all of the victims of Hurricane Katrina and their loved ones, as they try to recover from this devastating experience.
