Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a topic of great debate within the ranks of business, government, media and community however, minimal education has been available and little known of the Business Case. That is - up until now.

Many fortune 500 companies, The World Economic Forum and Business in the Community (UK) suggest there are compelling arguments for CSR and the 2005 CSR Summit is about to showcase how and why corporate social responsibility is making companies more robust and profitable. It will also highlight the importance of embedding CSR into small to medium enterprises and the not-for-profit sector so they are adequately equipped to deliver products and services to larger companies who have CSR strategies and policies. A must in today's ever changing and demanding global business environment.

Business, government and community leaders are invited to attend in person or via the world wide webcast from November 30 - December 2nd. The new Hilton in Sydney will house the 2005 CSR Summit bringing together over 50 specialist speakers from Australia, the US, UK and Canada to:

  • Expose why CSR is a better way of doing business and the framework to sustainability
  • Engage in debate and explore the emerging challenges for business around socially responsible business practices, measurement and reporting.
  • Help companies get started on the journey to improved profitability and sustainability by sharing the processes and tools required so they can manage their social and environmental performance in the same way they do their economic performance.
