PBD was awarded an Ebbie for Corporate Philanthropy for its work on Project Homeless Connect, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom's innovative program to bring social services directly to the homeless citizens. Triple A of Northern California, Nevada and Utah was the co-winner of an Ebbie award in the Corporate Philanthropy category.
"We are honored to have won an Ebbie for our work on Project Homeless Connect. Our team worked hard to create a brand to persuade San Franciscans to help other citizens in need in our community. It has been heartwarming to see the response," said Philippe Becker, PBD Creative Director.
PBD has grown consistently since it was founded in 1998. The San Francisco Business Times ranked PBD recently as number 5 on its 15th annual listing of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in The Bay Area.
The Ebbies were created by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce to highlight San Francisco's top performing companies. Past recipients of the Excellence in Business Corporate Philanthropy Award include Levi Strauss, Macy's, and SBC Pacific Bell. 2005 Ebbies finalists in other categories include the New de Young Museum, California Pacific Medical Center, and RedEnvelope. Winners were announced at the Ebbies gala celebration on Thursday, November 3rd at the Hilton San Francisco.
