Vancouver, BC - The GiveMeaning Foundation, in partnership with Plenteus Technologies, is pleased to announce that GiveMeaning is the first site to feature GivingProfiles, a new way for companies of all sizes to showcase their good deeds. A GivingProfile is a searchable online database containing all of the specific charitable and community initiatives a company supports.

"Our community of donors wants to know whether companies care about the causes they support. Most companies, irrespective of the industry, are actively involved with least one charity, but the details of what they're actually doing are often hard to access, buried in a company's website", said Tom Williams, CEO of The GiveMeaning Foundation. "Studies have shown that a company's social responsibility profile and charitable acts are an increasingly important factor in building customer and employee loyalty. What's long been needed is a platform to easily and efficiently showcase a company's good deeds."

Companies that subscribe to GivingProfiles get a custom webpage on the GivingProfiles website to display all of their corporate social responsibility activities, to which they can point customers, employees and the media.

Plenteus's unique technology then highlights corporate "factoids" that show the contribution a company has made to a cause that appears on GiveMeaning.com. Since GiveMeaning displays the profiles of projects that benefit a specific charity or cause, the corporate factoids that appear on each profile are highly relevant to viewers. Each factoid includes a link back to the company's GivingProfile, which enables donors to learn more about the companies that are joining them to support particular causes.

"This addresses very powerfully the corporate need to showcase and align their good deeds to highly motivated and targeted online communities," said Williams.
