Pfizer, the world's largest pharmaceutical company just completed it's first-ever "Corporate Citizenship Report 2005". The goal of the report is to help interested audiences understand Pfizer's many efforts and business initiatives to be reliable partners in sustainable, global healthcare solutions.

This important assignment went to Russell Design, a New York based multi-disciplinary firm with a history of working with organizations wishing to communicate their responsibility and good works to wider audiences. Russell Design has worked with City Harvest, the New York City food rescue organization, to help clarify their mission and build greater awareness of their work. Russell design also created all marketing materials, a website, their annual reports and mailings and materials to support and grow their fundraising efforts.

Currently, Russell Design is working with Safe Horzion, a twenty-five year old non-profit which has been at the forefront of helping New York City's victims of crime and abuse through their crises and Children's Aid Society, one of the countries largest, non-sectarian child and family welfare agencies. Russell Design was instrumental in helping to clarify their work and mission in their annual report and other fund raising materials

JPMorgan Chase also turned to Russell Design to strategize, design and produce their 2003 Community Partnership Report. The book brought the extensive charitable and community efforts of the bank to life including distribution of funds to hundreds of local non-profit organizations globally. Organized into three, color coded sections, the report used images to support the many efforts that the bank and it's employees were involved in around the world. It was distributed widely to investors, global aid organizations and employees and friends of the bank.

In 2006 Russell Design will increase its efforts to work with organizations on their CRS reporting projects and, to achieve this goal, has assembled a group of individuals with experience in a wide range of relevant services. Collaborating with strategists, writers, and development experts will enable the firm to guide teams through the legal and corporate review process of producing CRS documents. The firm will also develop ways to extend the reach of the work done in putting together the CRS report by utilizing excerpts or parts of the report as a suite of marketing materials and website modules.

Anthony Russell, founder of the firm, serves as creative director and president. He is President Emeritus of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, a member of the Society of Environmental Graphic Designers and has taught design at both New York University and Cooper Union.
