Austin, TX - In an effort to reach new subscribers, Sustainable Log, a free newsletter for socially responsible investors, has offered to donate up to $1 to Alternative Gifts International (AGI) for each new subscriber sign-up, up to 10,000. Readers can elect to earmark the donation for one of AGI's 36 qualified, pre-screened charitable projects. The causes include rescuing girls in danger of forced prostitution, providing for gorilla protection in Rwanda, offering new alternatives to child soldiers, supplying antibiotics and other medical supplies to Sudanese refugees, and many others.
