The addition of Marketplace to the site came about as a result of numerous inquiries from visitors concerning eco-friendly, socially responsible products. As a result, publisher John Schneider has created a page where readers could go and shop from companies that are aligned with the values of socially responsible business and socially conscious consumers.

"We felt that the time was right to launch Marketplace," said Schneider, "Like the website itself, Marketplace will change and evolve to meet the demands of visitors."
