WEST PALM BEACH, FL- February 20, 2007 – On Monday, February 19, Latakia’s Socially Responsible Business Forum launched Socially Responsible Business Forum Marketplace. The website address is www.sociallyresponsiblebusinessforum.com/marketplace.

The addition of Marketplace to the site came about as a result of numerous inquiries from visitors concerning eco-friendly, socially responsible products. As a result, publisher John Schneider has created a page where readers could go and shop from companies that are aligned with the values of socially responsible business and socially conscious consumers.

"We felt that the time was right to launch Marketplace," said Schneider, "Like the website itself, Marketplace will change and evolve to meet the demands of visitors."
Schneider was quick to add that visitor input will play a critical role in the success of Marketplace. "If there’s a company or product line customers would like to see, they should email us and let us know."

Schneider went on to state that the creation of Marketplace should send a message to companies that have placed the interests of customers, employees, and stakeholders on the back burner for far too long. " It’s our goal to create a virtual town of socially responsible storefronts through Marketplace. As customers contact these vendors through our website, companies will have to sit up and take notice. In the end, this benefits all of us."

Created to re-introduce the concepts of ethics, responsibility, civility and purpose to today’s business culture, Socially Responsible Business Forum seeks to improve the lives of people by shedding light on important issues confronting business, as well as providing resources for those interested in socially responsible business.
