NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2006--PartStore.com, a leading national e-retailer of replacement parts and accessories, today announced the launch of its Active Duty Delivery Program (ADDP), a program giving American service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan the opportunity to order parts and accessories and have them shipped overseas to them.

Many online retailers will not ship to Army Post Office (APO) mailboxes. PartStore.com, which provides hard-to-find replacement parts and accessories for consumer electronics, appliances, computers and wireless products, recognized the importance of supporting our troops, and developed the ADDP for troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Under the program, orders placed through Partstore.com will be shipped directly to APO mailboxes, and PartStore.com is handling all of the additional paperwork and special delivery requirements necessary to make the program successful.

With the program launching on June 1, 2006, Partstore.com has already processed numerous orders and has received very positive feedback from its customers. "As an overseas customer who is in a unique shipping situation, it can sometimes be hard to get the parts I need, when I need them," noted Sgt Noah Branscom who is stationed abroad. "PartStore's ability to ship APO has helped out tremendously. With friendly and prompt customer support, I have been impressed with their performance."

For PartStore.com, which was recently listed among America's top 500 internet retailers, supporting American troops is important. "We're thrilled to be able to help our country's service men and women while they are deployed overseas," said Jack Matarasso, e-commerce director at PartStore.com. "And because we have a number of government, corporate and institutional accounts in addition to our consumer-direct business, we have the support structure in place to easily handle unique customer requirements like this one."
