Leonardo Academy's President to Speak at the 2009 Chesapeake Green Building Expo, March 24-26, Sponsored by USGBC’s Maryland Chapter

MADISON, WIS. - March 19, 2009 - Leonardo Academy has announced that Michael Arny, President, will speak at the 2009 Chesapeake Green Building Expo held March 24-26 in Elkridge, Maryland. Michael Arny will present "LEED for Existing Buildings "“ A Case Study: Clinton Library" on Wednesday, March 25, from 3-4 PM. The event, sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council's Maryland Chapter, includes over 70 booths and tables, two days of seminars and demonstrations, and a food court featuring "green"catering. Leonardo Academy will host a booth at the event.

Featured as the "Father of LEED-EB," Michael Arny will also present a LEED-EB pre-expo workshop "Getting Started with LEED-EB: Challenges and Opportunities." LEED-EB (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings) provides a framework for achieving continuous operational improvements in all existing commercial and institutional buildings.
