Seventy-nine (79) percent of travel agents polled by American Express identified family travel as one of the most significantly increasing trends in 2005 and in a survey conducted by the International Ecotourism Society, 61 percent of the U.S. tourists surveyed agreed "travel experiences are better when the destination is a well-preserved natural, historical or cultural site." Market demand for green building is expected to continue its rapid increase. A 2005 National Association of Home Builders study states that green building is forecast to grow from a $7.4 billion market in 2005 to $38 billion in 2010.
