GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 2006--Thanks to the generosity of guests who purchased Boston Market(R) certificate books in May and June, Boston Market restaurants raised more than $270,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The certificate books offer more than $40 in savings on some of Boston Market's most popular meals and sell for $1 each. Boston Market will donate the full purchase price to the Komen Foundation.

"We're proud to support this great cause, and to be part of something that is important to our guests, our team members and in the communities in which we do business," said Mike Andres, president and chief executive officer, Boston Market. "We enjoy this annual opportunity to support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment."

"A key to our success at the Komen Foundation is that we collaborate with a variety of organizations to provide creative ways for people to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer," said Cindy Schneible, vice president of cause-related marketing and sponsorship at the Komen Foundation. "We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with Boston Market to increase breast cancer awareness and allow consumers nationwide to make a valuable contribution to breast cancer research and community outreach program."

Boston Market introduced the certificate book program in 2004. In the three years since the inception of the program, Boston Market guests have helped raise more than $920,000 for the Komen Foundation.
