EDISON, N.J.- February 27, 2008 "“ Manning, Selvage & Lee, Ketchum, Edelman, Porter Novelli, Ruder Finn, Burson-Marsteller, DDB BIG, Golin Harris, Cone and National PR were named to the Top 10 PR Firms in Corporate Responsibility list published in the Jan/Feb 2008 edition of CRO Magazine. The magazine's 20,000 subscribers received the magazine February 28, and readers of the popular website TheCRO.com see the list online the week of February 25. The Top 10 PR Firms ranking is featured in the same issue as CRO Magazine's ninth annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens list, the top ten of which are Intel, Eaton, Nike, Deere & Co., Genentech, Corning, Humana, Bank of America, ITT and PG&E.

"The CRO role, since it spans governance, compliance, CSR and sustainability, is now so complex that Corporate Responsibility Officers need lists such as the Top 10 PR Firms to help them find a specialist to navigate the field," says CRO Magazine Publisher Jay Whitehead. "To make is all the more challenging, PR in corporate responsibility is evolving away from press releases and media relations to become a set of strategic practices that re-shape corporate cultures and processes completely. In Corporate Responsibility, PR firms today are looking more like management consultancies."

CRO Magazine compiled the Top 10 PR Firm list from questionnaire responses and publicly-available data, and ranked the firms based on number of PR professionals engaged with clients in CR-related assignments. The list also shows each firm's CR-related client count and lists prominent client names.

Five of the Top 10 PR Firms in Corporate Responsibility will be featured in a high-profile panel presentation at the CRO Conference March 27 in NYC entitled "The PR Firm Presidential Debate" that will for the first time ever, allow CROs to compare leaders of the top PR firms side-by-side, live on stage.
