April 20, 2009 - Employees of Atlanta-based Neenah Paper, a leader in the creation and manufacturing of premium and specialty papers, kicked off the company's week-long celebration of Earth Day by keeping their corner of the world a little greener.
On Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, Neenah employees teamed up with EarthShare of Georgia and Keep North Fulton Beautiful to help keep Georgia’s Chattahoochee River clean. Employees such as Tom Lee (pictured), who is part of the Neenah Paper supply chain team, helped pick up and dispose of litter and debris along a stretch of the riverbank at Morgan Falls Road in Sandy Springs, Ga. They also had a group serving recycling customers at the Keep North Fulton Beautiful Recycling Center, located at 470 Morgan Falls Road in Sandy Springs.
