Enbridge's 2004 Corporate Social Responsibility Report has evolved to replace the Company's annual Environment Health and Safety Report to include those areas of responsibility not extensively reported on in previous publications, such as human rights, community investment and stakeholder relations.
As such, the Company is also among only a handful of Canadian companies that have been able to prepare their CSR reports in a manner that meets the 'in accordance with' specifications of the Global Reporting Initiative's 2002 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
"CSR is a business issue, and we have treated this report with all the seriousness that our annual report, quarterly reports or other disclosure documents would require," said Enbridge President & CEO Pat Daniel in a letter to stakeholders announcing the report's publication.
Enbridge's 2004 report is available in both HTML and PDF format at www.enbridge.com. An online survey regarding the report is also available at that site.
