West Caldwell, N.J. - Vitaquest International, a national nutritional supplement company, today announced that it has pledged $60,000 in product and financial contributions to Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organization designed to fight malnutrition and childhood blindness around the world. Vitaquest will produce a UNICEF approved formula of children's multivitamins for distribution to thousands of school aged children in Honduras and the Dominican Republic as part of Vitamin Angels' programs in these regions to prevent vitamin deficiencies. In addition, Vitaquest's financial contributions will help fund Vitamin Angels' Operation 20/20 program, which will launch in early 2007 with the goal to save 4.5 million children from going blind due to vitamin A deficiency.
