PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 2006--100,000 disadvantaged children will smile a little bigger--and brighter--this holiday season when they discover Crest(R)SPINBRUSH(TM) brand toothbrushes under the tree on Christmas morning.
In an effort to bring holiday cheer to children in need, Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is playing Santa's helper by donating 100,000 Crest(R) SPINBRUSH(TM) brand toothbrushes to the Toys for Tots Foundation and other children's non-profit and charitable organizations. The kids' toothbrushes are battery-operated and have molded handles featuring a variety of fun children's themes, turning the important daily time when children brush into a fun event with their favorite characters.
"The Crest(R) SPINBRUSH(TM) brand toothbrushes will make excellent gifts for our children," said retired Marine Corps Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "We are very pleased that Church & Dwight is helping us fulfill the Christmas hopes and dreams of so many of our underprivileged children. Church & Dwight is most welcome onboard the Marine Toys for Tots Team."
Church & Dwight officials are equally appreciative of Toys for Tots and other partners for allowing the company to participate in their holiday charity programs.

The Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.5 million needy children in 2005.
