NEW YORK, January 8, 2007- Bringing together business networks and stakeholders, the China Center for Labour and Environmental Law is designed to promote innovation and facilitate exchange of experience in existing CSR practices and tools. The Center is a multi-stakeholder community for business networks and stakeholders committed to the practice of sustainable development. The Center’s aim is to provide seamless access to high quality, web-based resources for participating organizations working on social and environmental sustainable development in China. In collaboration with other institutions, the Center will contribute to the recent growth in social and environmental development among small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) within the region by providing access to information, tools and practices that support improved CSR knowledge and enhanced local effectiveness.
