March 12, 2007- The adidas Group has issued its latest publication on corporate responsibility for 2006 - the year in which Reebok became part of the adidas Group. It can be downloaded from the corporate sustainability website via http://www.reportalert.info/ra/Adidas120307.htm

This booklet is about the steps the company took last year to create a unified approach to managing and measuring the adidas Group’s social and environmental impacts. The approach was to take the best of the Reebok and adidas programmes with the aim of maintaining and enhancing the leadership positions the two companies separately enjoyed.

The publication is not a social and environmental report which tracks progress and includes consolidated data. Instead it is in a Q&A form which gives answers to the most important questions about the integration of the programmes. Following the addition of Reebok to the adidas Group at the end of January 2006, a Group-wide framework had to be built to generate reliable data about the newly combined supply chain and other corporate responsibility areas such as the environment and human resources. Whilst consolidated data does not exist for 2006, the adidas Group will continue with its regular reporting practices by issuing a full report for 2007.
