May 15, 2007 - Are you a corporate leader who has experienced working with NGO’s/UN Agencies? Please help us complete our survey. For your time, you will receive a free copy of the Business Guide, featuring the Survey Results and detailed descriptions of each of the leading organizations, valued by a focus group of ten Global 500 companies at approximately $5,000.

The Business Guide is a partnership between the UN Global Compact and Dalberg Global Development Advisors, with support from a number of organizations including Financial Times, CSRwire, ICC, WBCSD, BSR, WBI, IBLF and Forge. This is the first ever guide of its kind and is being developed to assist corporate leaders in selecting NGO/UN partners around the world.

Key findings of the Business Guide will be featured in a Financial Times Special Report to be published on the first day of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in July 5-6, 2007.

The motivation behind the Business Guide came from the need for a new tool to facilitate collaboration between companies and NGOs as well as UN agencies. The Business Guide aims to systematically identify 100 leading NGOs and UN agencies from around the world that have demonstrated skill and excellence in partnering with companies. In essence, the Guide will provide a market-based assessment of potential NGO/UN partners and describe their competencies (click here for the Executive Summary www.dalberg.com/guide_summary.pdf).

Dalberg and the UN Global Compact request 10 minutes of your time so that the Business Guide may benefit from your insight and experience and also be useful to you and your colleagues. In recognition of your contribution to the development of this publication, your organization can choose to be acknowledged on the back cover and will also receive a free copy of the Guide.

Please request a survey invitation at the following page (www.dalberg.com/survey_request_form.html) and one will be promptly emailed to you.
