WILTON, CT. - September 2, 2008 - Framework:CR, a leading sustainability consultancy, is hosting a one-day forum to examine the challenges inherent in transparency around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

The highly interactive event will bring together a rare gathering of investor relations officers, legal counsel, and corporate responsibility practitioners to explore strategic disclosure and help participants find the right balance between too little and too much transparency. Attendance will be limited to 50 participants.

The forum will include expert-led conversation sessions, case study analyses, and panel and roundtable discussions that focus on

  • establishing the strategic value of ESG issues,
  • determining an appropriate level of disclosure,
  • engaging with socially responsible investors and activist shareholders, and
  • facilitating dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders.
A distinguished roster of speakers will help frame issues and provide insight garnered through real-life experience. Confirmed speakers include representatives from Calvert; Citigroup; Deutsche Bank; Ethical Corporation; Fair Factories Clearinghouse; Ginsberg Consulting; HIP Investor; KPMG; Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP; and Trillium Asset Management.
