RainTube also contributes LEEDS points for builders and owners seeking "green" certification for their projects.

Steve Spratt, co-founder of GLI, said "We are a small Oregon based company and very proud to be recognized by Green Building Pages with these important awards. In our fast-growing industry where there are suddenly a large number of products claiming "green" attributes, it is important for the consumer to have access to truthful and transparent information on products and the companies that organizations like Green Building Pages and Cradle to Cradle provide. The fact that we are a small company and yet the highest ranked "green" product in the world and the only sustainable product in our industry is a source of immense satisfaction to everyone in our company. Meeting the high criteria of the benchmark Product Sustainability Award set a standard we will continue to emphasize in all our business operations. It is gratifying that RainTube has been recognized for making its contribution to the planet while helping homeowners preserve the value of their buildings."
