PETALUMA, Calif. - December 16, 2008 - HydroPoint Data Systems, Inc., provider of the WeatherTRAK(R) Smart Water Management solution, today announced it has been awarded honorable mention in the 6th Annual Flex Your Power Awards' Innovative Products & Services Award category. HydroPoint's WeatherTRAK has been recognized for reducing water footprint and urban runoff to deliver environment and financial benefits.

The Flex Your Power Award acknowledges organizations, businesses and governmental agencies that have shown leadership and made exceptional contributions toward saving energy in California. The Innovative Products & Services Award category recognizes the innovative products or services designed to help businesses and residents save energy. Nominations are judged by energy and water use efficiency experts consisting of top organizational directors, commission chairs, legislators and researchers. The winners from this year collectively saved more than $227 million, 1.5 billion kilowatt hours, 122 billion gallons of water and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 1.3 billion pounds.
