LOS ANGELES, CA - March 6, 2007 - CSRwire, Delicious Living Magazine, Dr Bronners Magic Soap, Kopali Organics, New Chapter Organics, Pet Promise and Sweet Leaf Tea, all conscious and fair commerce companies, announced today their participation in the Conscious Goods Alliance which will tour throughout the United States on a bus that has been converted to run on vegetable oil, a carbon neutral, renewable and cleaner alternative to petroleum based fuels.

The Alliance will be visiting Whole Foods Market stores, local schools, universities, farmers markets and other community centers to promote sustainable, compassionate and
transparent business practices and products. The first stop on tour will be The Expo West Natural Products Show in Anaheim, California on March 9-11, 2007.

This year's tour will last one year and these mission-aligned, ecologically and socially conscious businesses will tour 180 Whole Foods Market stores displaying a variety of products that are good for those who use them, those who grow and make them and the planet we all share. The Conscious Goods Alliance "Veggie Bus" is a true eco showroom and best exemplifies the tour’s slogan Consciousness on the Move. The mobile headquarters, greened by greenhome.com, features photovoltaic solar electricity, sustainable bamboo and palm wood interiors, an all-organic renewable energy kitchen and dozens of other sustainable solutions

For a second year the Eco Showroom "Veggie Bus" and its crew of social entrepreneurs and media artists will raise consumers awareness while promoting conscious products and brands. "we want to inspire people to support products that are consistent with their values", say Zak Zaidman and Stephen Brooks, co-founders of the Conscious Goods Alliance, "what better way than touring with a collection of conscious companies that feel the same way".

After Expo West the "Veggie Bus" will tour Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. Plans include an appearance at Earth Day in San Diego on April 24. Throughout the year the Conscious Goods Alliance will attend All Things Organic in Chicago, May 8-10, Bonaroo Festival in Manchester Tennessee, June 8-12, Expo East Natural Products Show in Baltimore, October 4-7, Green Fest East in Washington D.C., October 13-15, Bioneers Conference in Santa Rosa, October 20-22 and Green Fest West in San Francisco, November 9-12.

The Conscious Goods Alliance (CGA) is a group of committed businesses that believe in promoting conscious lifestyles, products and brands, as well as consumers’ ability to vote with their dollars. Started by Stephen Brooks and Zak Zaidman, founders of Kopali Organics, the CGA is now in its third year, touring with 15 conscious companies. In a bus furnished with a bamboo interior, coconut palm floors, solar powered electronics and recycled paper countertops; the 'veggie bus' is a mobile ecological showroom. In its yearlong journey across the United States, the CGA bus visits almost all Whole Foods and Wild Oats Markets, in addition to other retail outlets, universities, schools, farmers markets and community centers. The crew conducts product sampling, bus tours and provides educational talks on sustainability and environmental stewardship. The CGA bus will be on the road until March 2009.
