On 27 May 2010, Nestlé and the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), with the participation of the UN Office for Partnerships, will hold the second Creating Shared Value Forum.

The Forum gathers world's leading experts in the areas of nutrition, water and rural development to discuss the serious global challenges facing us in these three areas, and the role of business in solving them.

Webcast
The Forum will be webcast live from 09:45 to 18:00 CET at this link. The theme of the webcast is 'Business & Global Development 2010 - 2020'.

Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value
At the end of the Forum, Nestlé will announce the first winner of the Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value. This event will also be webcast live from 18:00-18:30 CET. The Prize is awarded every other year to an individual, a non-governmental organization (NGO) or a business that has proved outstanding innovation in the areas of nutrition, water and rural development.

Contributors will include Professor Michael Porter, Bishop William Lawrence University Professor; John Elkington, executive chairman of Volans and director, SustainAbility; Jane Nelson, director of the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and Director, IBLF; Werner Kiene, chairman and member of the World Bank Inspection Panel (2004-2009), and Ajay Vashee, president of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers.
