AARP Honors SC Johnson
At SC Johnson it's good to be 50! SC Johnson is pleased to announce that the company was recently recognized as one of 50 honorees of the 2006 AARP Best Employees for Workers over 50 award. This annual recognition program acknowledges companies and organizations whose policies best address an aging workforce.
"As a company we strive to create a workforce where all employees - regardless of age - can contribute to the best of their abilities," said Maria L. Campbell, Director of Diversity at SC Johnson. "That's why it's such a great honor to be named a top company for workers over 50."
SC Johnson has long been recognized as an employer of choice. Working Mother magazine has consistently recognized SC Johnson among the top 10 companies in their annual "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" list. Earlier this year, SC Johnson was named to the top ten on FORTUNE magazine's list of the "100 Best Companies to Work For in America." The company also was named to the "Corporate 100" list of top companies for Latinos by Hispanic magazine and was among DiversityInc's list of top 50 companies for diversity
To be considered for the list, companies submit a comprehensive application that includes questions about their human resources practices and policies.
