Washington, DC - April 22, 2009 - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) and Siemens Corporation today named 13 U.S. communities as leading examples of local sustainability success. On Earth Day, the communities are honored as part the 2009 Siemens Sustainable Community program.
"American communities are showing ingenuity and leadership in how they plan for their futures," said BCLC Executive Director Stephen Jordan. "We congratulate these communities for their commitment to sustainable growth."
