WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Chamber of Commerce's Center for Corporate Citizenship (CCC) will host a forum on corporate citizenship and the reputation of U.S. companies overseas. Participants, including government officials, business leaders and policy experts, will discuss how to more effectively communicate the positive impact business has on communities around the world.

"Anti-business bias hurts both social progress and economic growth," said Stephen Jordan, executive director of CCC. "Businesses generate jobs, create new technologies, and spur developments that improve standards of living around the world."

Featured Speakers Include:

Keith Reinhard, Chairman DDB Worldwide and founder and president of Business for Diplomatic Action, a nonprofit that mobilizes U.S. corporations to build partnerships with local communities around the world.

John D. Sullivan, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Center for International Private Enterprise, one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy that has supported international institutional reform, improved governance, and building understanding of market-based democratic systems.

Alan P. Larson, Under Secretary for Economic, Business, and Agricultural Affairs, U.S. State Department serves as the senior economic official at the State Department; advises the Secretary of State on international economic policy.
